Overview
Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) cables are high-strength overhead conductors designed for electrical transmission and distribution systems operating at rated voltages up to 36kV. Each conductor is manufactured with a 99.5%+ pure aluminium content, with specific tempers defined by the version's suffix. To dramatically extend structural service life and resist environmental elements, the inner steel core strands are fully galvanized.
