Overview

The CHINT iDCM7 is a highly advanced, rail-mounted intelligent DC energy meter specifically engineered for power monitoring and precise billing in modern DC distribution systems. Optimized for electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging infrastructure, telecommunications, and solar energy storage, the meter handles bidirectional measurement to track both imported and exported active energy.

The system utilizes a smart modular architecture split into two core sections: a Management Unit (MU) which drives the dot-matrix LCD display, user input keys, and external data communications, and a dedicated Sensor Unit (SU) optimized for high-speed data collection and safe, large-current sampling. Built-in temperature compensation ensures stable accuracy across harsh operating environments, while encrypted transmission features protect transactional data at the charging point.
